1. Overview
Prove your Rank is an educational practice and competitive problem-solving platform. By signing in and using this website, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Google Account Information: When you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive and store your Google account identifier (
sub), name, email address, and profile picture URL. We do not receive or have access to your Google password. - Duel & Activity Data: When you play duels on the platform, we record the subjects and chapters selected, questions presented, answers submitted, time taken per question, time-extension and white-flag requests, scores, rating changes, daily duel counts, and activity streaks.
- Session & Browser Storage: We use an
HttpOnlysession cookie (jee_duel_session) and browsersessionStorage/localStoragestrictly to keep you signed in and manage active duel sessions. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your account and maintain your profile, rating history, and activity calendar.
- To calibrate simulated opponent difficulty and compute rating updates.
- To analyze aggregated duel telemetry in order to improve the mathematical rating model and opponent behavior.
- Public Leaderboard: Your display name, rating, rank, and proficiency level are shown on the platform's Global Leaderboard visible to other signed-in users. Your email address is kept private and is never shown on the leaderboard.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties. Your data is stored solely in our database for the operation and improvement of Prove your Rank.
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
Your account and duel history are retained as long as your account remains active. Note that interrupted or unsaved duels are automatically discarded and not retained. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing tanmay1820.mantri@gmail.com.
